ModulARC series
is a complete line of "pre-engineered" robotic welding
cells, designed for today's dynamic manufacturing environment.
These industrial robots are compact and highly efficient, ideally
suited for small lighter weight parts, although all ModulARC
systems
have payload capacities of 250-500 Kg (550 lbs.-1,100 lbs.).
Our
ModulARC cells
are available in four different models: TT-250, RP-250, RWM-250,
and FW-250.
The TT-250 work
cell is used where in addition to the six robot axes, the welding
does not require any added degree of freedom. The system simply
provides a work area for tooling to be mounted. The TT-250 worktable
is a 72” diameter, non-servo work piece manipulator used
where minimum flexibility is required. The TT-250 worktable
is mounted on a high-speed RR-452 rotary table.

igm's RP-250 work
cell is used where in addition to the six robot axes, the welding
requires a single added degree of freedom. This additional
axis is provided by the headstock positioners. The RP-250
will accommodate parts up to 1500 mm (59.1”) long (including
tooling).

The RWM-250 work
cell is designed where in addition to the six robot axes, the
welding requires two added degrees of freedom. These two
additional axes are provided by the L-arm (skyhook) positioners.

Our FW-250 work
cell is used where in addition to the six robot axes, the welding
requires an added degree of freedom. This additional axis
is provided by the headstock positioners. The FW-250 robot
cell was designed so that the headstock to tailstock distance
is greater than that of the RP-250 cell. The FW-250 will
accommodate parts up to 2500mm (98.4”) long and 1000mm
(39.4”) wide (including tooling).
