igm's robotic
cutting and robotic beveling systems are
the best that the industry has to offer. Our ibs robotic
beveling system comes as either gantry or slide
systems, with a specially
developed
cutting head allowing bevelling of arbitrary contours with
varying angles. A constant land height is guaranteed by a
Laser sensor performing on-line surface measurement and edge
tracking, even compensating for heat distortion. Off-line
programming using CAD data is done via an integrated DNC-interface.
The ibs is not only capable of top and bottom bevels (without
rotating the plate), but will achieve these bevels with an
accuracy of ± 0.5mm!
